Xenn-Spotlight

The public artist home for releases, links, merch, and updates

Use Xenn-Spotlight to build a cleaner artist-facing page that turns your catalog, links, and announcements into one public destination.

Fast Move

Spotlight is the public page layer. It is not the same thing as upload intake or wallet operations.

What It Is

Your branded artist front door

Spotlight is the page-building surface for artists who need a public home for releases, links, merch, and conversion points.

When To Use It

Use it after the release lane exists

Once uploads, playlists, or merch are in motion, Spotlight becomes the page that presents all of it coherently to fans.

Boundary

Not a hidden builder menu

Spotlight should be treated as a user-facing artist home system, not just a buried setup panel that only the team understands.

Current Route Truth

What users can do here right now

What users can do

  • Signed-in users are routed into the builder flow, and already-published users can be redirected to their live public page.
  • Inside the studio, creators can load starter templates, autosave draft work every few seconds, manually save a draft, and publish the page.
  • The studio can surface the published URL, reopen the studio route, and show save or publish status directly in the control strip.
  • Creators can open the playlist drawer, refresh playlist availability, sync a featured playlist section into the page, remove that section, and jump to the playlists manager for the playlist work itself.
  • The help/manual dock can be shown, hidden, and repositioned while the page is being built.

Do not claim yet

  • Do not describe Spotlight as the place where playlists are created, reordered, or deleted; that work stays in Xenn-Playlists.
  • Do not claim arbitrary custom scripting or broader no-code app-building capabilities that are not exposed in the current builder.
